Botox is a muscle weakening agent that is injected every 4-6 months to weaken the muscles that cause crow's feet, forehead wrinkles, furrows (wrinkles between the eyebrows) and even neckbands. It is proven safe and effective, and is often the best solution for certain types of lines and creases.

Collagen and Restylane are often used to fill in wrinkle lines, folds and creases. These are natural products already present in the skin. Most patients commonly use Natural Collagen to enhance their lips, and Restylane to fill most other creases, especially those around the nose and mouth. During your visit we will anesthetize the area topically, and then introduce the filler through a very fine needle. Retreatment for Collagen is usually needed every 4-5 months, and about every 9 months for Restylane.

Fat Transfer procedures involve removing fat from one area of your body and applying it to another.  The most common areas it is harvested from are the hips and buttocks.  The specially prepared fat is then transferred to the nasolabial creases, marionette lines, or lips. Normally 40-50% of the fat “takes” as permanent, as this is a grafting technique.  Your fat can be preserved for up to 3-4 months to be readministered at suitable intervals.

Though most people are well aware of the benefits of liposuction in reducing excessive accumulation of body fat, few know of two relatively obscure procedures designed to re-contour very specific areas of excess fat in the face. These two simple, but very specific, procedures are called Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty (TCB) and Buccal Fat Extraction (BFE).
