Women’s bodies change after pregnancy. Even the most avid fitness enthusiast will tell you that it becomes exceedingly difficult, if not impossible, to get your body back to its pre-pregnancy shape. There are distinct changes that occur to the body’s anatomical girdle that account for this. In youth, the narrow contour at the waist is created by a circumferential band of connective tissue enclosing the muscles of the torso. With the stretch of pregnancy (particularly multiple or twin pregnancies), this internal girdle is irreversibly stretched to a larger size. For this reason, no amount of exercise can fully reduce the size of the connective tissue girdle. In addition, most women suffer some degree of fascial weakness in the midline where there is a gap between the abdominal muscles.
It is for the above reasons that so many women elect to have Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) procedures.

My Philosophy

The three main irreversible changes to a youthful figure; loss of fascial tautness; inelasticity and stretch marks of the skin;
and stretched unsightly belly buttons, are all addressed and reversed in Abdominoplasty. The internal girdle is narrowed with pleating sutures, the belly button shortened and revised into a youthful "hooded" appearance, and best of all, the damaged and stretch marked skin below the belly button is removed. Closure of the incision is low down where many women already have a C-Section scar and heals extremely well, because it is closed with plastic surgical technique. The results are amazing and "Naturally. You." The hour glass shape of the abdomen is returned and the skin is smooth and taut. In addition, a new youthful belly button is present.
